Got back from a nice visit at the Club Transmediale-festival in Berlin, and planning next release.
((kassettbolget))’s director = Karyan
So I’ve been picking up music making. Except for playing in the all girl drumming band, that I started earlier this year, I also perform under the namn ‘Karyan’ and mostly play ambient, field-recordings stuff - with an aim for some drone parts.

‘Den Magiska Samlingen’ (The Magic Collection) is a blog runned by my old friend Daniel Söderberg. He collects some super rad people and let them do onlibe mix-tapes, by just picking songs from Spotify. Say what you want about Spotify, but I’ve stumbled upon some really good mixes on this blog.

Sorry for the quietness. ((kassettbolaget)) is working on new stuff, and MAG and My Pet Goat can be ordered directly from me at kassettbolaget@gmail.com.
I’m keeping a low profile during the summer due to a lot of work with other things.
So yeah I’m going a semi-vacation from the cassettes and will be back in September (moving to new place, with other words, the office is packed into boxes).

The release party this Friday was just perfect! Sun was shining, everyone got something to drink, people came to listen to Ora Cogan and MAG and the cassettes were popular. Super thanks again for supporting and likeing ( ( k a s s e t t b o l a g e t ) )!
The first 13 (suppose to be 20, but the production had some complications) who bought both cassettes with My Pet Goat and MAG also got a limited hand printed bag. This combo was very popular and the bags and cassettes was sold out before the evening ended! Looking forward to see the bags in the streets of Malmö, Stockholm and Berlin!
I’m right now only selling the cassettes at KRETS and for the moment I only got 1 of My Pet Goat and 3 of MAG, left, but more will be out in the shop(s).
The MAG-cassette will also be sold in Berlin and Hamburg following MAG on her tour.
More distribution places will be announced, but right now you can only get them by emailing here.

The MAG-tapes will be joining Magdalena for her tour visiting Linköping, Gothenburg and Stockholm. Last day of her and Ora Cogan’s tour will be in Malmö at KRETS, where there will be live-music and release party for the label. (see info below, though only in Swedish).

ORA COGAN (CAN)
är från Vancouver och började skriva sånger och uppträda vid 12 års ålder. Hon har sedan dess utformat ballader och blues med sin oerhört unika röst. Låtarna är starka, förföriska och drömska. Live uppträder Cogan som en duo med extra gitarr, dragspel och drones. Hon har på sistone blivit lite av en favorit inom den oberoende musikscenen och har turnerat världen över.

MAG
är ett soloprojekt signerat Magdalena Ågren, tidigare medlem i Surplus People. Hon arbetar med live-samplingar med trombon, megafon, gitarr och diverse ljud. Skruvade poplåtar byggs upp från minsta beståndsdel till en dystopisk lo-fi-kakafoni. MAG leverar sin musik med en enorm energi som lämnar gåshud på din kropp.

är ett nystartat bolag som vill främja kvinnliga artister inom olika genrer. Bolagets två första släpp är med My Pet Goat (samplings-singer-/songwriter) och MAG (trombon-megafon-pop). Dessa kassetter är limiterade och har handgjorda omslag och handtryckt och handskriven text. De första tjugo som köper båda kassetterna får även en limiterad screentryckt tygpåse.
